Create It.

I created the "Public Health Is" campaign to shine a light on the diverse and multifaceted nature of public health. Through my years of experience in marketing, operations, and advocacy at Public Health Advocates, I've seen firsthand how public health impacts every aspect of our lives, from the air we breathe to the communities we build. This campaign aims to educate, empower, and engage people in conversations about health equity, social justice, and the importance of a healthy community.

The urgency of this campaign was heightened by the recent May proposal to the California state budget, which includes a significant reduction of $300,000,000 in public health funding. This drastic cut threatens the essential services and programs that many communities rely on to stay healthy and safe. By sharing stories, resources, and actionable insights, I hope to inspire others to take an active role in their health and the health of those around them.

Public health is more than just healthcare; it's about creating environments where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Join me in exploring what public health means to you and how we can work together to make a difference.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Plan it.

The "Public Health Is" campaign was strategically designed to maximize effectiveness and reach. It consisted of a templated letter and call script, three social media assets, two video assets, and a dedicated webpage to host all materials. This comprehensive approach ensured that the campaign's message could be effectively communicated across multiple platforms and channels.
